Prepping for Running, Pancakes, and Beer!

Hello all!

I haven’t even recapped my experience at the Vail Trail Half Marathon from last Sunday and I”m already preparing for my 24th half in Fort Collins this weekend. I go from not racing to racing 2 weekends in a row, that’s just how I roll!

So tomorrow I race the Human Race put on by Green Events Colorado in Fort Collins and I can’t wait!

It’s a road race and since I’m running the half I’ll be running the same loop twice. If you run the 5k, you have the opportunity to race the trolley! I’m feeling pretty good and ready to eat some road miles for breakfast before, well, eating a hearty breakfast from Snooze!

Things I’m looking forward to:

  • Snooze breakfast and O’Dell’s beer at the finish
  • Running a race put on by a company that has a mission to be sustainable
  • Running in Fort Collins, it’s not a place where I’ve really spent much time
  • Racing! I just love a race morning!

The plan is to make the hour drive tomorrow morning, grab my bib and packet (since they offer morning off packet pick-up and registration) and then run! I’ll also get to meet some more of my fellow BibRave Pros which is always great!

Want to join the fun? It’s not too late!

Register today and same 10% with code BibRaveRocks.

So hopefully everything goes great tomorrow and I’ll get to bask in the glow of awesomeness post race tomorrow!

What are your plans for the weekend?
