I Run At Disney to Eat At Disney: Disney Springs

Hi again!

So to wrap up my runDisney food series I’m going to take a slightly different approach to Disney Springs. I HIGHLY recommend taking a day off from park touring if you are running Dopey or any multi-race series. It’s worth taking a day off from the parks to get some rest and get off your feet.

While you might not spend the whole day at Disney Springs (even though you totally could) you might want to get out or your resort to grab a bite. Here are some budget and tummy friendly foods that caught my eye!

Lunch/Dinner

At the Raglan Road quick service window, Cookes of Dublin, the Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Chips is definitely a safe bet. It’s char-grilled chicken breast with herb aioli, tomato chutney and greens for $11.95

Pizza Ponte is the pizza window at Maria and Enzo’s and this pizza looks goooood. The slices are huge and only $7.

If it’s not too hot out, some nice ramen might really hit the spot. Morimoto’s quick service window has a Ginger Chicken Ramen (sake streamed ginger chicken, soy marinated egg, scallion, cilantro, sesame) for only $12. It sounds so good and Morimoto has been getting rave reviews!

Chicken Guy opened up and everything is really reasonably priced. Plus they have 22 sauces to try, which sounds super fun. The Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders (three tenders $5.99; five tenders $7.99) and the CG Classic sandwich (two chicken tenders (crispy fried or grilled all-natural); cheddar, special sauce & LTOP) for $6.49 both sounds like great options to me!

And of course my favorite reasonably priced meal is at Earl of Sandwich in the form of the Holiday Turkey Sandwich (turkey, cornbread stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise). It’s got all the carbs and all the protein to fuel you up right and it’s only $7.99!

Snacks

Maybe you are just hanging out for a couple hours and not looking for a full meal. These snack might just be what you are looking for!

Wetzel’s Pretzel Original Pretzel is only $5.00. They are so buttery and tasty and perfect for snacking!

The Aristocrepes’ Banana Chocolate-Hazelnut Crepe (chocolate-hazelnut spread and salted caramel) sounds like heaven and is only $6.99. Probably a great thing to split!

Martocci’s Italian Ice sells a small italian ice for $4.22. They offer a wide variety of flavors including mango, pina colada, and chocolate, yum!

Ghirardelli is always a great place to check out, especially to get that free square of chocolate from the store. You can also get a singe-scoop in a sugar cone or cup for $5.25 or a fresh chocolate chip cookie for $3.95. Probably the perfect way to satisfy that sweet-tooth!

Well those are my picks, what will you be eating at Disney Springs?
