Hello all!
I’m finally blogging because… I’M RACING AGAIN!
When was my last race? MAY – I haven’t raced since the Bolder Boulder back on Memorial day and I’m itching to get out there. I forgot how much fun racing is and October has been racing twice – once this week at the Hot Chocolate 15k and then again at the Rock n’ Roll Half in Denver!
I’m so ready to stretch my legs and test my speed a little bit and just enjoy running with others.
As with all race weekends, I’m kicking things off with a quick visit to the expo!
The Hot Chocolate 5k/15k in Denver expo as at the National Western Center where a lot of conventions are hosted and I decided to hop on the bus and head there during my lunch on Friday since it was open from 12-6.
I got there around 12:25 and had about 15 min until the next bus, luckily there were plenty of volunteers and no wait to pick up my bib!
I then went to the opposite end, swinging through a couple of the vendor booths, to get my goodie bag including the sweatshirt, I LOVE this Hot Chocolate tradition!
This year’s was a half-zip with lots of great features, this is the sweatshirt for the season so you should check to see if there is one racing near you (I’ve got discounts!): Discount Page
I’ve got my bib, I’ve gotten some chocolate, and I’m ready to race – see you guys tomorrow!
Time to review a sweet time at the Hot Chocolate 15k Denver!
