Registered and bought the Disneyland Paris Half Marathon package 9 months ago. Plan tickets bought 3 months ago. Hotels all booked for pre and post race adventures and now it’s time to make sure I’ve got all my ducks in a row. I’M SO EXCITED!

3. Check out your Goodie bag and Expo!
The runDisney team in France set up a virtual goodie bag for us, check out here!
Check out the official race merchandise to see if there is something that catches your eye, it won’t be gauranteed that you’ll get it but planning never hurts! FIRST LOOK – Merchandise for Inaugural Disneyland Paris – Val d’Europe Half Marathon Weekend
Want to pick up something extra while you are at DLP? Check out the Expo map. Excited to see some runDisney regulars on this list!
4. Some Disney Extras!
Pre-Race Breafast – In the race guide it mentions a “collation” offered by your Disney resort before the race. This is a small meal so I’d expect some grab and go items to nibble on. Check with you Disney hotel for more details!
Late Checkout – The race guide also mentions that the Disney hotels are already planning for your late check out on Friday or Saturday. Again check with the desk when you get there to make sure you know what to expect.
5. Other Info
Castle to Chateau Challenge
You will receive a wristband to receive the challenge medal. At the end of the half marathon you will need to go to the Castle to Chateau tent to receive the medal.
Did you have you Medical Certificate/Castle to Chateau form verified?
You should have received an email confirming both of these and a bonus registration completed information email, if you didn’t, bring a copy just to be safe. You don’t want to travel from far and wide to not be able to run. You will need to go to runner relations to get this straightened out
Can I pick up someone else bib?
Yes – You will need to bring the original printed voucher, as well as a power of attorney signed by the runner. It is mandatory that this power attorney show’s your first and last name, plus the other person first and last name. Please add the exact type of service(s) the person is picking.
Can I Check a Bag?
Yes – You’ll get a clear bag and you need to use that bag to check any gear you want to have at the finish line. If you can avoid checking a bag it will make you’re morning a little easier though, I’m expecting security to be high!
Will there be on course photos?
Yes – PhotoPass will be out on the course and there is special PhotoPass to cover your run pictures. Not sure of the price right now but you’ll be able to buy it at the runDisney expo booth, this is separate from the PhotoPass you can buy for your other vacation pictures.
Those are the big things to note as I read through the Event Guide. I’m so excited to run through Disneyland Paris and in the surrounding areas, it’s going to be awesome guys. I don’t have a ton of expectations beyond that, see parks and run. I’m also excited to run by the Beach Club, err… the Newport Club Resort. 😛
What are you looking forward to? Which medal are you going to be taking home?
